Small cushions are the ones that go flat first. They get sat on, leaned against, tucked behind backs, and thrown around, and thin stuffing gives up quickly under all of that. A proper insert is what keeps a 16-inch cover looking like a cushion rather than a folded piece of fabric.

This one is filled with hollow ball fibre, which is the reason it stays springy. Each fibre is rolled into a small ball with air inside it, so the filling compresses when you press and pushes back up when you let go. That bounce is what stops it from flattening into a solid pad over a few months.

It fills standard small cushion covers cleanly and keeps the corners defined. The non-woven shell holds the fibre in place so it does not gather at one end after a wash.
